Believe & Overcome

Believe and Overcome
.
Unearthing deeply held dreams often requires much more than faith and trust, just the thought of whispering them out into the world can be nothing short of terrifying. The moment we allow ourselves to imagine what life would be like “if”...something happens to scare us and we put our dreams back where they are safe and can’t fail. Dreams seem much more possible in our imagination.
.
If we are going to utter that whisper, we need help far beyond our own ability. Our dreams are inspired by design and they come from someone that intends to walk them out with us. We are never alone.
.
Walking hand in hand with our Savior, sitting at the table of plenty He has prepared for us, talking with our very best friend over a meal, discussing our fears and insecurities, this is The Way we find our safety. Here the light shines brightly into the darkness, He reveals Himself and the darkness cannot comprehend the plans He has for our future. This is where the valley of the shadow of death transforms into a field of colorfully arrayed flowers and all the scary things become tangible possibilities. It is from this place we can rise up and take His hand, walking into our future knowing goodness and mercy will be our rear guard all the days of our lives.
.
What are your deeply hidden dreams? Write them down with reckless abandon and give them a moment to see the light of day.
...
“Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows. So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:4-6‬ ‭TPT‬‬
