Impossibility & Love
Impossibility and Love
This post was supposed to happen Saturday, but I couldn’t come to the place of quiet to give it the attention it deserves. Four years ago on September 12 a miracle took place. What had been ‘impossible’ for over 25 years, that thing that everyone had virtually given up on, that huge burden that completely worn us down and weighed heavy on our minds, that stole our joy and almost caused us to lose all hope, that painful thing that made us question if God hears our prayers, THAT miracle happened.
.
We didn’t know for a while. Little tiny faith filled mustard seeds take time to germinate and drop roots and shoot up through the dirt to find light and spread their first leaves. That precious moment took place and we almost didn’t see it, or trust it, or believe it was possible. We were scared of it for a long time, fearful to hope. That fear didn’t change the outcome planned, and here we are today basking in the glory of all that once was terrorizing for us to consider...”Does God still perform miracles today?”
.
Yes.
.
Today we smile, we laugh, we have so much joy...and so much love. He has washed away every tear, erased every painful emotion that went with the memories. We actually laugh about all of it now, it’s not ‘too soon’ anymore. Life has returned and it’s full of light and hope, like the glory of a morning sunrise over towering mountains. We are grateful, so grateful, and we give Him all the glory. We know without a shadow of a doubt He has done for us what we could not do for ourselves.
.
Whatever you’re believing for and suffering through, lean on God...He will keep His promises. If you’re on the other side offer encouragement and prayer with someone struggling to hang on.
.
“This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine— these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 TPT
.
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.”
James (Jacob) 1:17 TPT
