Paradise & Humility
Paradise and Humility
.
When our lives are more than we can handle, when we just want it to stop, to let up in our darkest hour, the pain so extreme we find ourselves crying out that it’s all too much for us to bear...it is never ever too much for Jesus.
.
From the cross, at the peak of intense personal agony, He displayed for us what happens when the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit is filled up to overflow within a human being created by God...
.
There is peace.
There is surrender.
There is generosity.
There is compassion.
There is forgiveness.
There is family.
There is understanding.
There is tolerance.
There is blessing.
There is praise.
There is grace.
There is love.
There is humility.
There is paradise.
.
We cannot manufacture this with good thoughts, good behaviors, or good deeds. It is far beyond our own ability to produce these results in our own lives.
.
What we can do is set our eyes and hearts on Him and BELIEVE.
.
The Holy Spirit is a gift from Him.
His Spirit can do the impossible.
In Him is the relief we are seeking.
In Him is Abundant Life.
.
“Then he said, “I beg of you, my Lord Jesus, show me grace and take me with you into your everlasting kingdom!” Jesus responded, “I promise you—this very day you will enter paradise with me.””
Luke 23:42-43 TPT
.
“Then, looking into Thomas’ eyes, he said, “Put your finger here in the wounds of my hands. Here—put your hand into my wounded side and see for yourself. Thomas, don’t give in to your doubts any longer, just believe!” Then the words spilled out of his heart—“You are my Lord, and you are my God!” Jesus responded, “Thomas, now that you’ve seen me, you believe. But there are those who have never seen me with their eyes but have believed in me with their hearts, and they will be blessed even more!””
John 20:27-29 TPT
