From my April 2020 hand painted watercolor collection, 31 Days of Mini Paintings.  Each of these 4”x4” pieces were inspired by my favorite places I have visited around the world, they each hold very special meaning for me and my loved ones.  As I painted, beautiful memories rushed in my heart of the laughter, joy, hugs, meaningful conversations, and breathtaking views that were inspired by our Creator.  I hope a spark of inspiration springs forth in you as you enjoy your own piece of our blue jewel earth.

Up before the sun, coffee in hand, arriving at the marina in the dark ready for wonderful fishing day. One of the many things the love of my life and I enjoy most is saltwater fishing along the Texas coast. Our trusted guide waves us his direction and we board. We have stayed loyal to him for many years, he is very good to us, always giving us his best whether we catch fish or not. It’s the highlight of my day just watching the sunrise across the still water, not a speck of land in sight. Our little boy is a natural, he comes by it honestly, always bringing toys to keep himself occupied until his line takes off and his reel screams. Red fish are my personal favorite, they put up a good fight and make the whole experience fun, trout are boring and just let you bring them in, but they taste better. Some days we come home with a bounty, others with nothing but the smiles on our faces...and we know it’s worth every penny either way. Memories that last a lifetime.
