#29 Paradise Canyon, TX Print
Regular price $20.00From my April 2020 hand painted watercolor collection, 31 Days of Mini Paintings. Each of these 4”x4” pieces were inspired by my favorite places I have visited around the world, they each hold very special meaning for me and my loved ones. As I painted, beautiful memories rushed in my heart of the laughter, joy, hugs, meaningful conversations, and breathtaking views that were inspired by our Creator. I hope a spark of inspiration springs forth in you as you enjoy your own piece of our blue jewel earth.
Those happy accidents...the love of my life drove me down to Castroville, TX to find some pottery for holding my watercolor brushes. On the way home he wanted to stop and take a look at this camping place he had seen on the map. We pulled up and found it was closed for the season, so we gave them a call. The owner answered and was so kind granting us permission to come on in and take a look around. We were not at all prepared for what we found, this beautiful little heavenly paradise tucked away behind a cliffside, we were so surprised and couldn’t wait to go camping there! A few weeks later we were back, our tent beside the river, steaks and s’mores on the campfire, fishing by the dam, taking long hikes, canoeing, and in complete awe. We had NO idea this little gem was so close to home. We met the owners, Red and Laura, who were so gracious, friendly, and especially patient as Eli crawled all over his new best friend...their enormous loving dog. This place is aptly named, and always rewarding us every time we visit with wonderful memory.
